Orgnisational skills

Let's talk about organisation & planning....

Organising and planning improve your efficiency and productivity. Being well organised and developing effective plans also allows you to achieve important goals and objectives.

Being a business owner means you must balance a multitude of tasks efficiently and effectively. When your business is not organised, tasks can pile up, documents can get lost, and valuable time is spent looking for information that should be readily accessible.
Organisational skills aid in meeting deadlines, focusing on the most crucial aspects of the work you undertake and assisting others in performing their duties successfully. They can include being able to delegate, create goals, plan strategically, and more. Additionally, they may require excellent communication and time management skills.

Organising and planning aren't the strengths of every business owner, which is why so many businesses these days hire a Virtual Assistant. This could be to organise their inbox, plan their calendar, or manage their social media campaign.

1️⃣ Organise, organise, organise: Start by creating folders and labels for different subjects so you can easily find what you need. 2️⃣ Unsubscribe strategically: Cut down on clutter by unsubscribing (not just deleting!) from newsletters and promotions that you don't read. 3️⃣ Set aside time: Dedicate specific periods each day to check and respond to emails, rather than continuously throughout the day. 4️⃣ Prioritise and respond promptly: Address important emails first, so not to let them pile up. 5️⃣ Archive or delete: Once you've dealt with an email, file it or label it to keep your inbox clean and clutter-free.

Social media is likely to be the most popular type of content marketing, but it's much too frequently disregarded as the crucial element of a successful content marketing strategy that it actually is. It entails the creation of material to promote your products and/or services and the promotion of it on social media, foster community among your target market, and increase customer traffic. Social media is continuously changing as new features and platforms appear every day. In order to raise brand awareness and set your business apart from the competition, social media may be utilised to create a brand voice or personality and promote captivating content across several channels. It can also be utilised in a supplemental capacity. For instance, you can distribute links to an article or blog on whatever social media platform you choose, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and so on. A social media campaign does not necessarily, have to live within all your chosen social media channels. Depending on the campaign objectives and targeted audience, you may want only to use some of these channels. Now you know the ins and outs of social media for business. What do you think? You are aware that social media should be used by your company because it is a channel that is always open. But does the thought of creating content on a weekly basis feel you with dread? Do you already have content like articles, blogs, or testimonials but are unsure how to get started?

Let's talk about the importance of establishing a communications strategy. After all, every business needs one. But what actually is needed I hear you ask. Firstly, you have to think about communicating with your target audience. The strategy needs to include who you are talking to, why you are speaking with them, how and when will you will speak to them, what form of communication you should take, and what channels you should use to share it.

Let's talk about Time Management: While time is infinite, the hours of a day are not. Running a business is exhausting and time-consuming. Time management is a critical skill for business owners, yet not every business owner can, or knows how to manage it. The effectiveness and profitability of businesses directly depend on how well time is managed ⏰. As a Virtual Assistant, I enjoy giving my clients that extra time in the day to focus on their business priorities, or even so they can sit in front of the TV at night without having to check their emails, providing a better work-life balance. I can do this for you by managing your inbox, organising your calendar, and even taking care of your social media. Contact me to discuss your needs......only if you have the time of course 😁
