I’m Sophie, founder of FTL Virtual Support.

I started FTL Virtual Support in 2022 after 17 years working in financial services. I’d spent years organising, problem-solving, supporting people and keeping things moving behind the scenes — and realised those were exactly the skills that busy business owners needed too.

Today, FTL supports small and growing businesses across admin, marketing, projects and operations. Sometimes that means taking care of the day-to-day work that simply needs doing. Other times, it means taking ownership of a project, putting better systems in place or helping bring an idea to life.

What matters to us is that the support fits your business.

There’s no one-size-fits-all package and no handing over tasks just for the sake of outsourcing. We look at what’s taking your time, what’s slowing things down and where the right support could make running your business easier.

My 17 years in the corporate world gave me a strong background in organisation, client service and business operations. Alongside a BA (Hons) in Business and a Diploma in Digital Marketing, it means I bring both practical experience and commercial thinking to the businesses we support.

FTL has grown too. I now work with trusted associate support, allowing us to offer clients a broader range of skills and capacity while keeping the personal, flexible approach FTL was built on.

And when I'm not working...

I’m mum to three children and three very opinionated cats. I love running, yoga, travelling and getting outside whenever I can.

Running a business is important to me, but so is having a life outside it — and that’s one of the reasons I believe so strongly in getting the right support. Your business should give you opportunities, not consume every available hour.
